First day Meeting Spots are attached under Resources. Grade 9 students will go directly to their Homeroom teacher's class. Please have a plan with your child for end of day pick up.  It will be busy so be mindful of crosswalks and parking signs. 

Throughout the year the school doors to school will open at 7:50 am.  Please do not drop off your child prior to that time as the doors will be locked and their will be no supervision. Monday to Thursday school time is 8-2:30 pm and on Fridays it is 8-12 pm.  Lunch time is 10:50-11:35 am for Grades 5-9 and 11:40-12:25pm for Grades 1-4.  Grades 7-9 students can go off campus for lunch as long as they are a respectful member of our school community and return to school on time and ready to learn.     

Please review with your child our GW Student Code of Conduct and our GW Digital Citizenship Plan prior to them starting on Thursday.

Tuesday Sept. 5 - Complementary Courses start for Grades 5-9 (Grades 7-9 check MyCBE for courses) 
Thursday Sept. 21 - Open House 'Meet the Teacher' at GW & GW Harvest Festival (More information to come out closer to the date)
Friday Sept. 22 - No School (IPP Meetings by Teacher Request) 
Wednesday Sept. 27 - Photo Day 
Friday Sept. 29 - National Truth and Reconciliation Day (No School for Students)
