Dear Griffith Woods Families, 

We are so excited to welcome you back after a wonderful summer break! The staff at Griffith Woods are looking forward to an incredible year of learning, growing, and building community together with our Grey Wolves. 

This year promises to be filled with engaging opportunities for our students – in academics, the arts, athletics, and leadership. We can’t wait to partner with you in supporting your child’s success and celebrating the many accomplishments ahead. 

By 2:00 PM on Friday, you can expect an email from your child’s homeroom teacher. This message will introduce your student to this year’s teacher and provide details about the meeting spot for next Tuesday morning, ensuring a smooth and positive start to the school year. 

Please let us know if you have moved over the summer, so we can update your child’s information. We are significantly over-capacity this year and we are only able to accommodate students in our designated area.   A reminder to ensure that you have signed up for your MyCBE account, so you can register for lunchroom and bussing, if required. All information regarding bus stops and times will be in your account .  

There is no change to our school hours for 2025-26.  Mondays and Thursdays run from 8 AM to 2:30 PM and on Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM. Instructional time starts at 8:00 AM and we do have a soft entry beginning at 7:50. This year, our front main doors are designated for K-4 students, we ask that our 5-9 students use alternate doors which will be shared with students on the first day of school. 

We are an ‘Away for the Day’ school meaning that cell phones and mobile devices are to be powered down and kept with your child’s teacher or in their locker for the entire day.  For more information, please refer to our digital citizenship page on our website.
