Welcome Back, Griffith Woods Families!

We are excited to welcome students and families back for another wonderful school year.

Meet the Teacher Open House:

Please join us for our Open House on September 24, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to visit classrooms, meet staff, and reconnect with our school community. Please note that students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.

Scooters:

As we begin the school year, we ask families to review our expectations regarding scooters and other personal transportation devices. Students may ride their bikes and scooters to school providing:

  • Students walk their bikes and scooters directly in front of the school
  • Scooters and bikes are walked on the school grounds.
  • Scooters and bikes are locked in the racks provided.
  • Common sense is exercised on the way to and from school.
  • Students will get off scooters and bikes at crosswalks, look both ways and cross the street safely.

The school cannot assume responsibility for scooters and bikes brought to school.

School Calendar:

Snack Shack: 

We will not have the Snack Shack up and running for a couple of weeks.  We will send out a message when it is running.  

School Code of Conduct:

School Council Apple Sales:

The annual apple sale is officially open for orders! Follow this link https://form.jotform.com/262309020128244 or the QR code to order! Order deadline is September 9 at noon! Apple sales support landscaping efforts at the school to keep the grounds safe and beautiful as well as supports the garden club throughout the year.

School Council Meeting: 

Our First School Council Meeting of the year will be in the Staffroom on September 16th at 6:30 p.m.  We would love to see everyone come out and join us,
