Dare to Care
As part of our work to continue to have Griffith Woods be a safe, caring, and welcoming environment, classrooms we will using the the Dare to Care program throughout the year. Their award-winning program was developed by a former school counselor using best practices in the areas of bully prevention, discipline with dignity, trauma-informed education, and community building. It will give the entire school community – parents, teachers, support staff and children – a common language around bully prevention and help them understand their role in creating a climate of respect and kindness.
You can create an account to access the parent videos to have an understanding of what your child will be learning about in class. Use this link to create an account for yourself under 'Parent Enrolment' - https://daretocare.thinkific.com/bundles/GriffithWoods/ if interested.
