Parent-Teacher Conferences open Tomorrow for Booking
| Friday Nov. 21 (In Person) and Friday Nov. 28 (Online)
Parent-Teacher Conferences open Friday Nov. 14 at 4pm to book with your child's teacher on your MyCBE account.
- Conferences will be from 1-4pm In person on Friday November 21 and 8am-1pm Online on Friday November 28
- For Kindergarten to Grade 4 (and Mr. Sheen's Gr.5 class) you book 1 slot with your child's Homeroom teacher
- For Grade 5-9 you book 1 time to see both your child's Core teachers
- You can also book a timeslot to see your child's PE/Music teachers if necessary
It's important to note that if you do not have any concerns, you do not have to book a meeting.

Casino Volunteers Needed
Griffith Woods families,
As promised, I am reaching out for your support to volunteer at the next casino event. Our dates are set for January 3 and 4. The good news is that it is a weekend so it hopefully won't interfere with your day job if you work M-F. And we got the Elbow River Casino again, which is the best location. The bad news is that it's right at the end of the holiday break. They originally slotted us for December 24, 25, 26..... so it could have been worse. I got us out of that so you owe me a beer sometime.
You are all previous volunteers so I hope I can count on your support again, if your kiddo is still in Griffith Woods. (I know, my timing is impeccable with the impending strike.... I thought I better get this sent out now! We're not giving up the casino money, strike or no strike) We earned $81,917.40 for our children last time. Examples of what we purchased for our K-9 kiddos are listed below in bold. If that's not enough, do it for the free meal at the casino.
