Parent-Teacher Conferences
Conferences will be in-person on March 21 (3:30pm-8pm) and virtual on Friday March 22 (8-12pm). To book please go to your MyCBE account. The booking window is opens Friday March 15 at 8am for parents and guardians and closes Wednesday March 20 at 6pm. In Grades 5-9 there are not enough spaces for all families to meet with their teachers. Remember you do not have to meet with your child’s teacher if through the Report Card, Assessment on Powerschool, Communication with the teacher you have a clear picture of how your child is doing in school.
- Grades 1-4 will have 15 minute time slots with their Homeroom teacher
- Grades 5-9 conferences will be done as a team, with both your child's teachers (except if in Mr. Sheen's class, you only have to book with him)
- Kindergarten and Grades 5-9 will have 10 minute time slots to facilitate more times
- Meeting slots for Music, Band and Phys.Ed teachers will be available as well
- Kindergarten has school Thursday March and P/T Conferences at the same times as the rest of the school
- Please do not book Complementary Course teachers as they are prioritizing space for their Homeroom classes

Paul Davis Parent Presentation on Social Media Safety
We are lucky to be able to get Paul Davis to present to our Grade 6-9 students and host him for a separate parents only presentation on Tuesday March 12 at 7pm in the Main Gym. His presentation will give you social media safety tips to support you in how you navigate the topics of cyberbullying, online security, digital trails, and smartphones. The parent presentation is for all parents, no matter what grade your child is in. Please do not bring your children to this as the subject matter is geared towards adults.
