Reporting and Assessment
Report Cards for your child will be viewable on your MyCBE account Wednesday June 25. If your child is on an IPP that will be sent out on Friday June 13 and signature pages will be required the following week. Provincial Achievement Assessment
The Grade 6's and 9's are writing their PAT's this week. In order for things to go smoothly please ensure:
- Your child is here and on time as the exam starts at 8am .
- Have them get a goodnight sleep, have a good breakfast, wear comfy clothes, and pack a water bottle and snack.
- It should be noted that there is school in the afternoon during PAT's and they are expected to attend. If the Grade 9's are excused by their parents/guardians they are under your supervision and should not be on school property.
- If you are excusing your child from school in the afternoon after the PAT, it needs to be called in on the attendance line 403-817-3572 or e-mailed at griffithwoods@cbe.ab.ca before the afternoon and is considered an unexcused absence as they are expected to be at school.
Meet and Greets
There will be no early Meet and Greets for next year's students before the first day of school. Parents will get an e-mail before the first day finding out their child's teacher for the year and instructions for the first day of school.

Staff Appreciation Lunch
The 2024-2025 school year is coming to an end! On Friday June 20 we will be celebrating the incredible staff of Griffith Woods School. Back by popular demand is our "Best Staff in the World" theme. Please share your favourite dish from your family or culture! We have such a diverse community at Griffith Woods School and it is a favourite staff event with tasty treats from all around the world.

Please ensure all food and drinks are delivered to the staff room by 10:30 on Friday June 20th. We are happy to have things dropped off earlier that day as well. Please if possible bring your dish in something that does not need to be returned to you. If you do use a dish that needs to be returned please label your dishes and utensils.
