Hello Griffith Woods Families,
This week we welcome our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Bombard, to Griffith Woods School. Students spent time sharing with her about what makes Griffith Woods School so special.
Students in Grade 2 shared:
- GWS is a place where we are peaceful
- Everyone takes care of one another
- We listen to the ideas of others
- We like to read and learn new things
- GWS spends time in nature
These messages of care and kindness are very fitting as we think about Pink Shirt Day and what that means for our community.

Pink Shirt Day Inspiration
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” – Aesop
Pink Shirt Day Focus
How can we work together to stand up for kindness and create a community where everyone feels safe, included, and respected?
Connection Corner
Pink Shirt Day reminds us that small acts of kindness, support, and teamwork make a big difference. When we stand together, speak up for one another, and choose compassion, we help build a stronger and more caring school community.
