GW Weekly February 23-27
Hello Griffith Woods Families,
This week has been filled with moments that highlight the strong sense of connection within our school community. From students stepping outside of their comfort zones to audition for the Talent Show, to others working together to organize and sell pizza and baked goods in support of a meaningful cause, we’ve seen firsthand what it means to contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
Acts of kindness aren’t always part of big events. Sometimes they happen in small, everyday moments. This week, I watched an older student accidentally kick a younger student’s boot in the hallway. Without hesitation, the older student stopped, picked up the boot, apologized, and helped the younger student get it back on. It was a simple interaction, but it reflected something much deeper: empathy, responsibility, and care for one another.
Have a wonderful weekend with family and we will see you next week,
Dr. Batycky and Mrs. Bombard
