A grade 9 student led this initiative to give back and do charity work a few years ago with the whole school. It was a big success. She actually ended up winning an award for her work with our school community. Our school, led by our Community Care classes are a going to continue the tradition. Here are the details:
- Starts Monday Dec. 2
- Each class/grade will collect the items until Tuesday Dec. 17
- All materials collected go to the Drop-In Centre which helps Calgarians experiencing homelessness.
